the ass to redo with engine in car. Especially the ones on the drivers side. On TTs, one of the soft lines is crimped below the reservoir onto a hardline. I have seen them leak there. I used a cutting wheel on a Dremel with the engine out to remove and replaced with the NA line and a clamp. My rule is to inspect, tighten and replace where necessary any time the engine is out, especially lines that are old and petrified.
